This is an article that details how to make your own dress form using molds that you take from your own body. This is one of the better ones that I’ve seen. Many others aren’t as durable or accurate. Mannequins are so great to have for several reasons. In the past I have used mine to display my scarfs and act as decor.
Sadly my mannequins are living in my parent’s basement for their own safety (my husband said that he would probably shoot them if he woke up in the middle of the night). So I will have to wait until I have my own office/craft room.
